Touchdown in All Analog Studio

Analog recording is the DNA of our musical being. It is about using the movement of tape to capture the movement of sound, and in doing so, it truly reflects what lives within the music. “Movement is Life!”
Acoustic instruments are kinetic, requiring a human being to be in the present while engaging their soul to articulate their extremities, to caress a keyboard, to pick or pluck a string, to gently tap, or harshly pound the beat of drums.
Although we respect the Digital Medium, as it seeks perfection in over-editing, we must admit that no one is perfect and those imperfections are what make us human. Let’s not digitally try to create perfection by removing the humanity out of something uniquely human.
Musicians are meant to harmonize their talents in their quest to perfect their art.
All of the greatest music ever captured was done so in an analog medium.
What made these recordings great was not the replication of perfection, but documenting the process of the organic, epic, and human struggle to create perfection.
For the reasons above, we recorded our quest to musically bare our souls at the PURPLE ROOM ANALOG RECORDING STUDIO!
